From here you can easily reach the Franconian Switzerland hiking area, the Hassberge hills, the Steigerwald forest and the surrounding cities such as Nuremberg, Würzburg, Coburg and Bayreuth.

Superbly located, cozy, and clean apartment!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is very clean and cozy. We lacked nothing! Communication was very friendly, and check-in/check-out was straightforward. The house is very quiet, and the other residents are also very nice. A small suggestion: Perhaps some kind of wall protection (glass, tiles, foil?) should be installed behind the stovetop burners. Otherwise, the freshly painted wall won't stay looking so nice for long when the stove is in use ;-)

perfect!
This is our second stay at this apartment, so that says something right there. It's a well kept, clean, bright apartment with all the services you might imagine and is just a short walk from the old centre of the city with all the shopping and museums nearby. I will note that there is no onsite parking and that the parking that is available (for an additional Euro 10/day) involves a bit of a circuitous drive down a narrow winding road and then a 150m hike uphill and through a completely different building to get back to the apartment, so be sure to transfer your luggage by stopping near the apartment before parking. The instructions provided were totally usable to negotiate all this, but were only in German, so Google Translate is your friend.

Where is the accommodation located?
The apartment is located at Jakobsberg 27a, set back from the street. It's in the old town, above the cathedral, and about a 7-minute walk from Bamberg's old town hall.

Is there an elevator?
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor; there is no elevator.

Are there parking spaces at the accommodation?
You can rent a parking space through us, located on a nearby property. It's about a 5-minute walk. You will receive directions with your check-in information a few days before arrival. Cost: €10 per night or €50 per week.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, check-out is until 11:00 AM. Check-in is self-service via a key box. You will receive further information by email 5 days before arrival.

Is there equipment available for children?
We can provide a booster seat for the dining room chair, with a safety belt, for use at the dining table. We can also provide a travel cot. Additionally, there is a bed rail for the parents' bed. Unfortunately, there is no space for strollers or similar items in the stairwell. Next to the house, accessible via an external staircase, is a cellar room used by all tenants, which you may use for storage. However, it must remain unlocked. We accept no liability for any damage or loss.

You can park your bicycles either on the property next to the garden gate, or there is a basement room next to the house, accessible via an external staircase, which is used by all tenants. This room must remain unlocked! In any case, we recommend locking your bicycles, as we accept no liability for them.

Are pets allowed?
Yes. However, only one pet per stay is allowed. We kindly ask you not to allow animals on the sofa or bed. Please do not leave animals unattended and ensure that no other guests are disturbed. The extra fee is €15 per stay and will be left in the mailbox upon departure.

Cancellation policy
You can cancel your trip free of charge up to 21 days before your arrival. Up to 7 days before your arrival, you must pay 50% of the booking costs. After that, 100% of the booking costs are due.
